The story of the film engages in a muddle of political issues where a Delhi-based politician wants to accuse Eeswara Prasad (Jayaram) of an idol theft. A CBI Officer denies to falsely accuse a noble man like Eeswara Prasad, followed by which another officer dares to do this task. The CBI Officer (Asha Sharath) travels to Hyderabad to know the evidences for this. As a part of that she questions his ex-secretary Chanchala, (Anushka Sharma) who is in prison on the charges of murdering Shakti, a social activist.(Unni Mukundan) The film which is directed by Ashok, is well-known for its incorporation of the horror element, within a political story thread.The movie is produced by V.
